Men are more/equally emotional as.....

Its said big men don't cry...at the same time, its said, men are just big babies...and aren't babies meant to cry..hmm..paradoxical, right?

Society has raised us up to believe that a man should be a cold being with no sense of emotion or affection. That one should not tear up,  never FALL  in love, just TRIP in love..he he...and thus, if ever known to be emotional..a 'weak man' becomes your modern-day brand. Well, I have had the privilege of knowing some egoistic men. Men who believe, yes, in this 21st century, that a woman is a tool of pleasure and not a companion, that women are the ones who are meant to feel, and us, to see and touch...strangely so, it is this hardcore men, who made me realize, rather astonishingly, that men are actually more, if not equally, emotional than women. WHAT!! Did I just say that men are....let me dash off for my own safety...

False: Men are stone-cold hearted beings with no feelings..and that by showing emotion you are weak

Truth: A man who knows how to work around his emotions, is more of a man....(your choice)

'Don't you dare point a finger at me.' Yes..men are more emotional; difference is, men, thanks to such stale norms of society, have believed it is 'un-manly' to communicate so. Lately, we have been witnessing news of policemen shooting themselves over women or a failed deal. If that is not being emotional, you tell me. Menshealth.about.com states that men are 4 times likely to commit suicide than women; masturingmaturity.com, states that 5 men commit suicide for every one woman (population statistics say, the ratio of men to women is 4:1). DO THE MATH!! Therefore, to all men reading this: You may choose to take a gun and shoot yourself, go to a bar and marry a hangover, drive to a brothel and get steamy with a hooker, go silent and let your anger out on strangers, go to a restaurant and harass/ womanize a full kuku-porno...fact still remains...

Am I being delusional, or am I stating something we pretend not to see. Am I weak, or am I stronger by admitting something most men can not. Lets have one thing clear, I am not advocating for a society where men tear up, engulf on chocolate, go on a shopping spree and the likes.that would be insane.I am simply advocating for sanity that will save lives, once society accepts, that it is not unjust for a man to communicate feelings, then may be the police won'y go on shooting themselves. Knowing no woman wants a softy and weak man (can't stand up and fight for her: imagine a man running behind his woman, at the sight of horror..here am talking about a rat). I think all women would appreciate one who connects with her emotionally...thus, "I am man enough to admit I got feelings, smooth enough to express them, bold enough to show them, and most of all, smart enough to work my ego around them." What say you? oh, and dare a man touch my lady in my presence...wacha tu!!
